Celeb Peek - Freida Pinto

Its been a while that we spotted Freida making an appearance, and when she did, she did it with style, keeping her style status upbeat.

She was spotted with beau Dev Patel at Film4 Summer Screen of 'Slumdog Millionaire' at London's Somerset House in a chic Stella McCartney (Resort 2010) LBD and Jimmy Choo gold stappy sandal. In the accessories department, she wore a chunky gold cuff and carried a lovely colourful beaded clutch. Though she could have done better in hair department, her hair didn't do justice to overall look.

The girl sure knows well how to keep up with the trend and carry it well too. Following the release of the movie Coco Avant Chanel, Coco Chanel's chic style has hit the fashion radar and Freida re-emphasised it with the LBD she wore. To keep up with the modern twist of LBD she chose one with mesh, which added an edge to her dress.

In Miral, Freida will be sharing the screen with female lead Hiam Abbass (Lemon Tree), a Palestinian actress who lives in France. She'd also be seen in another movie, Variety, where she'll share screen with Nicole Kidman (lead role), Naomi Watts, Antonio Banderas, Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins. Wooh, now that sounds amazing.

The New Year has brought new styles on Celebrities and many hits. This year the Bollywood Celebrities are working hard on their wardrobe and styles.

Simple and Classy - the favourite style

Aishwarya Rai at Pink Panther 2 Premiere

.Aishwarya Rai was a stunner in a black Alberta Ferretti chiffon gown at the premiere of 'The Pink Panther 2' at New York City. The black gown was accessorised with a single-line diamond necklace (that looked stunning and classy), glittery clutch and the rhinestone studded shoes. The bangle was something that could have been replaced by a diamond bracelet or maybe nothing. The pulled back hair, in a pony tail, and deep neckline brought extra focus to her best feature, i.e. her beautiful face. She played up her green colored eyes with thick eyeliner and lots of mascara (love her mascara do, girls take some tip) with bronze eye shadow. Her pink glossy lip color and a complimenting blush gave a subtle look doing justice to her face.

.A new stylist? Good job Aishwarya, finally you decided to improve your ensemble. I think, Ash must have thought that Freida Pinto's international acclaim for fashion may take the limelight from her. Took her a long time to get it right, considering she is the most popular Bollywood celebrity, but atleast she did it. Ash we want to see you in good books the next time.

3 months ago we didn't even know who she was, but now she is walking the Red Carpet like a veteran, leaving all the Bollywood ladies behind in terms of global popularity and fashion sense. She is nothing short of outstanding.

Her style has won her praises in Hollywood and it's no surprise that Freida Pinto is hot Hollywood Star (rather than Bollywood). She has become a fashion favourite of fashion critics world over.

.Love your style Freida. It's good to see that atleast someone from Bollywood understands fashion and style.

Halter Gowns - flavour of Screen Actors Guild Award 2009

My particular favourite at the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Award 2009 was Penelope Cruz. She was wearing a soft and velvety black Azzaro gown (and yes a halter number). To add some color, she wore ruby earrings, and carried a clutch black. She looked absolutely stunning.

While Freida looks lovely in her halter blue Marchesa gown accessorised with a Roger Vivier Clutch and Martin Grant jewels, Diane Lane's red hot halter gown looks good, but the clutch got her too matchy matchy.
